marble-touch software package provides globe and map widget for tablets, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install marble-touch
marble-touch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the marble-touch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep marble-touch *
You will get with marble-touch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
